A man came and knocked on Jeha’s door. Jeha’s wife opened the door and asked him what it was that he wanted. So, the man told her that he wished to speak to her husband. When Jeha came, he asked his visitor to express his desire.
“I am the guest of God!”, the man cried, meaning that he was a beggar.
Hearing this, Jeha immediately left his house and bade the man to follow him, until they arrived in front of the mosque.
At that point, Jeha announced: “O guest of God, behold the house of God!”
